The quiet elegance of Hanover House is an ideal setting for WEDDINGS, RECEPTIONS, and MEETINGS. We host MURDER MYSTERIES too. A scrumptious full breakfast and warm hospitality await all. The charming home is furnished with elegant Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian antique furniture and prints, gathered during the proprietors residency in the United Kingdom where she restored a fairy tale 16th century thatched cottage. Hand made and hand decorated porcelains by Royal Doulton, Royal Worcester, Royal Stratford, Aynsley, and others forming fanciful characters such as Sherlock Holmes, Alice in Wonderland, and King Henry the Eighth adorn niche and nook. There are five tasteful bedrooms, each with a king or queen sized 4 poster bed, with additional twin beds available. Throughout the year several special events are held at Hanover House. These include our Murder Mystery Evenings open to the public. |
