Good hotel

Nice, clean hotel. Very friendly staff. About 30 miles from LAX (which can take a while if you drive it during rush hour).
Away from a lot of the bustle of Los Angeles, but close enough that you can get to pretty much anywhere in the LA area. I didn't use the outdoor pool, but it looked OK. I was in the "Club Level" which had a lounge with continental breakfast and cocktails after work. I can't say how much it cost, since my company paid for it.
One negative I found is that you have to pay for the high speed internet in your room. It was $3.50 for 30 minutes, $10 for 24 hours, and $25 for 3 days.
